Nick is an experienced, pragmatic, forward thinking and authoritative B2B marketing and PR professional who has managed complex campaigns that have added real value to clients – large and small – throughout industry. He is the founder and Managing Director of 4CM, with over 30 years experience in developing powerful and cost effective marketing, media and communications programmes. An enthusiastic advocate for UK manufacturing and engineering, with a deep interest and detailed knowledge of science and technology, Nick has the skills, track record and drive to help clients with even the most mundane products achieve real market penetration and success. He’s also a Member of the PRCA, former IiP Assessor and judge for the PRCA Awards. Skill sets include:

Maurizio is an accomplished PR and Marketing Communications professional with an impressive track record in B2B operations
Having lived in Venezuela in his teens, he completed secondary studies with a top Dip. in Surveying (best in year), as well as learning Spanish. His keen interest in environmental matters propelled him to travel extensively; a pursuit that took him as far as into the Amazon basin at the age of 14 with a crew filming the Angel Falls. Moving back to Italy he had a brief interlude as a Radio Presenter, before returning to South America where he worked in Travel Operations. Moving to the UK he completed his education with a 1st class BSc (Hons) in Geography, presenting his thesis at Moscow University. Maurizio has since worked mainly in Marketing Communications management in sectors ranging from Leisure and Tourism, to Disaster Management consultancy (OCDS), on-line events (VEI), specialist chemicals and nanotechnology (MacDermid), chemical risks and the environment (AEA) before joining 4CM. Maurizio also regularly writes a blog for the CIPR, is a Council member of the RSA South central region and a Trustee of two charities.

Sarah is an experienced business manager, with responsibility for ensuring that 4CM delivers exceptional client value, efficiently and to the highest quality
Sarah has been with 4CM for over seven years, and is responsible for our process, IT and quality management and production control. On a day to day basis she plans, coordinates and manages all of our production resources, ensuring that each client activity is completed on time, within budget and to the highest quality, working closely with our Client Services Team to maximise client satisfaction. Additionally, as a member of the CIPD , her role includes HR, helping each member of the team maximise their potential through regular appraisal, review and skills development.

Claire is part of our Client Services Team, managing the critical interface between 4CM and the media, ensuring that high quality and sustained coverage and opportunities are maximised, and targets are met
Claire’s background in media – including the BBC and Endemol – serves her well in her role at 4CM. As Media and Special Projects Manager, she is responsible for all editorial placement in the trade and business press, in both horizontal and vertical sectors including design engineering, food & beverage, pharmaceutical, logistics and renewable energy. Her strong rapport with editors ensures clients receive maximum coverage through PR to enhance both their print and online presence. A key part of her role is project managing special projects, especially press events product launches and national conferences, utilising her logistical and organisational skills.

David is a highly regarded Technical Author, heading our writing team to ensure that we deliver exceptional technical, sales and marketing copy for the trade, technical and business media, and online channels
David is a versatile writer with twenty years’ experience of devising and producing sales and marketing content, from concise web copy to 2,500-word in-depth technical articles. Before joining 4CM, he worked primarily for the BBC for six years on a number of freelance projects, most notably as the author of technical articles to support the corporation’s role in the UK switchover to digital broadcasting. David has written lengthy articles for all of 4CMs major clients, making often complex technical concepts accessible to readers of all backgrounds. He is also responsible for managing the communication with, and the quality of all work carried out by, our pool of specialist freelance technical writers; these include current and ex-editors and engineers.

Gemma is a versatile and highly skilled Client Services Manager, working with Claire and Sue to deliver an efficient, proactive and accountable service to all our clients
Gemma has been with 4CM for over seven years and has worked in a variety of administrative, studio and, latterly, client services roles. She has extensive experience, both with 4CM and other organisations, and now plays a pivotal role in our Client Services team to develop, implement and manage our production, administration and reporting systems. In common with all of the team at 4CM, Gemma is task and goal oriented, with obsessive attention to detail and a powerful desire to deliver the highest possible level of client service, day after day, year after year.

Dan works at the heart of our Digital Services team, providing the creative impetus to deliver an outstanding level of both print and online sales, marketing and technical collateral
Dan has been part of 4CM’s creative team for almost 5 years, providing the experience, skills and creativity that help us produce a wide range of print and digital materials – from banner adverts and interactive White Papers, to sales and technical literature, pop-up banners and exhibition displays. His skills set also includes the production of video for use online and in presentations, while his role encompasses the development of new techniques and digital solutions, taking advantage of the latest software tools to provide clients with new and exciting options to promote their products and services.

With over 18 years in customer service across industry Sue has the skills, knowledge and expertise to help our Client Services team deliver exceptional value at all levels
Sue’s experience includes client and customer services in the promotional, events and incentives sectors, in the film and tourism industries, and in adult education, social care and e-business. With wide ranging skills sets, Sue works closely with Gemma and Claire to ensure that we provide efficient, professional and accountable services, that add exceptional value to each client’s business. In particular, she is responsible for our media distribution, monitoring, analysis and reporting procedures, providing the essential metrics that demonstrate the success of each PR campaign.

Alex is part of our Client Services team. Helping both 4CM and its sister company 4CMplus develop new and innovative marketing services.
Alex is studying Marketing at Bournemouth University and is currently with 4CM on a year’s internship. He works closely with Susan, Claire and Gemma in our Client Services Team, helping deliver high levels of service to all our clients. He also collaborates with his colleague, Jenny, in the research and formulation of marketing reports for both 4CM and its sister company 4CMplus, and with our Digital Team utilising the latest analytical tools.

Jenny is part of our Client Services team. Helping both 4CM and our sister company 4CM+ develop new and innovative marketing services.
Jenny is also a Marketing student from Bournemouth University, working with 4CM on a year’s internship. She forms part of the Client Services Team alongside Susan, Claire and Gemma, supporting them with client account administration, in researching and writing content for online media and blogs, and in monitoring and analysing media coverage.

David works in the hub of our Digital Services team alongside Dan and Maurizio, ensuring our clients never miss an opportunity to digitally communicate their story and that it reaches their target audience.
David has been immersed in the world of digital communications for over 3 years. From large multi-nationals to SME’s he’s advised on how communicate and engage effectively with all stakeholders via digital channels, that means websites, apps, social media, video and more. At 4CM his role is to provide digital insights to make sure our clients make best use of the channels available, to reach and engage with their audience and markets.
