WAAM3D
Case Study
Awareness

Objective
WAAM3D, a leading provider of Wire Arc Additive Manufacture (WAAM), was launching new large-scale metal 3D printing hardware solution – MiniWAAM – at a key UK exhibition. As well as needing an impactful stand they wanted to create excitement around the product launch at the show and drive sales leads.
Our approach
4CM created a stand that created theatre around the ‘big reveal’ of MiniWAAM on day 1 of the show using a giant video wall beside the new machine. Video content of the machine in action and thought-leadership interview clips were created to populate the screen. A highly targeted LinkedIn DSC teaser campaign was run in the 4 weeks before the show to drive interest pre-launch with key audiences and increase footfall for those attending the exhibition.
The results
The launch of MiniWAAM achieved 32 mentions and 525 reactions (95.2% higher than WAAM’s previous event), with 4000+ impressions on launch day, 25k+ views of the LinkedIn posts, 132 new followers, 13 sales leads and 9 key media outlets featuring the launch.
4CM delivered more than ‘just show support’ for us at this UK show. They understood the psychology of our target audience and tailored the stand design, graphics, video content, socials and giveaways to create excitement with this group. The work done in preparation for the show ensured that the launch of MiniWAAM and the show were an incredible success across the board. 4CM helped us deliver our vision of making WAAM3D stand out in a highly competitive market
