Objective

The senior team at OGM, a leading engineer of plastic injection mouldings, wanted to improve the company’s Google ranking from page five to page one within six months.

Our approach

We needed to understand the underlying issues that were causing the drop in OGM’s online presence. We started by prioritising research that would support copy writing and content ideas. In addition, we conducted an industry and competitor analysis to identify best practice and benchmark OGM’s performance.

The next phase was to prioritise technical SEO improvements followed by on- and off-page SEO tactics including PPC with LinkedIn DSC advertising and Google AdWords. All paid efforts supported the core keywords, as well as being relevant to, and aligning with, the products and services OGM provides.

The results

As a direct result of the campaign, OGM received new high value commercial enquiries from manufacturers. One of these converted into a £2.5 million global medical contract from an Israeli company, plus smaller initial orders for tooling to the value of £100,000.
